Galston Youth Football 

In May 2024, Amey South-West operatives responded to a request from Galston Youth Football Club to assist with grass cutting ahead of their 26th annual youth football festival. The festival welcomes youth teams from all over Scotland for a full weekend of football matches ranging from Fun Fours up to Seven-A-Side. Volunteers at the club had recently struggled to keep the pitches maintained and manageable ahead of the festival and a team of Amey operatives were more than happy to help. The grass was mown on Friday 17th May 2024, supporting the club’s volunteers to ensure their facilities are ready for the teams.
