Irvine Yuletide 2023 

On Friday 24th November 2023, a team of operatives from Amey South-West Trunk Roads visited Irvine to help erect six tower lights for the community’s first annual Yuletide event. During the celebrations, the team were there to man the lights and safely deconstruct them at the end of the evening. Attendees were treated to funfair rides, a parade, and even a visit to Santa’s Grotto, which was powered by a generator provided by Amey. Many thanks to all involved for helping to make this night a great success. Irvine Community Council said: “We've packed away Santa's Grotto, and the fairground has left so we'd just like to say a massive Thank You to everyone for attending the events last night, both the Parade and the Festivities on the Moor. 

We'd also like to thank all our partners and vendors as well as all the groups that helped to make our Light Parade such a great success.”
