MAKE CATRINE SPARKLE 2022

Amey’s NMC SW unit was delighted to donate 250 selection boxes to the Catrine community for their annual Make Catrine Sparkle Event. The event, which included a lantern parade (including an Amey branded lantern) and Santa’s grotto, saw 1,000 attendees on Sunday the 4th of December 2022.

The donated selection boxes were handed out from Santa to the children, which was very well received. In addition to providing the selection boxes for the Make Catrine Sparkle Event, the Make Catrine Sparkle team were able to also provide selection boxes to support other community groups in the village including:

  • The Over 50s 12 O’ Clock Gang’s Christmas Party, which promotes intergenerational working and communication within Catrine;
  • The Games Hall Christmas Party;
  • The Children’s Christmas Party held in Lodge St John, and;
  • Residents at Daldorch House, National Autistic Society

Tracy Smith, Chair of Catrine Community Action Plan said ”Thank you, Brian and the Amey SW Trunk Roads for the support. As you will see from the photos, it was very much appreciated and brought so many smiles to the community.”
